Ashton Sauer is an HR Manager at Ladder HR Solutions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and a post-graduate certificate specializing in Human Resources Management from Fanshawe College. With 9 years of experience in Human Resources Ashton is able to create policies that adhere to current legislation, create employee training programs, develop rewards and recognition programs, and offer advice on complex employee issues. Born and raised in London, Ontario, Ashton understands the issues effecting local businesses and offers creative solutions. In her spare time, she is busy raising her 3 young children while attempting not to eat all the chocolate. She gets it.

Sarah Angood has proven herself to be an energetic business professional with work related adventures in the financial services, engineering, academia and healthcare sectors over her 20-year career. Sarah's talents are demonstrated through her practical approach to resolving business problems as they relate to people and process optimization with a keen interest in: Recruitment & Selection, Talent Management, Labour Relations, and Training & Development. As a Certified Executive Coach and Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach and Facilitator, Sarah engages clients in insightful conversations with a goal of maximizing one's strengths and increasing team and individual performance. Sarah is excited to offer both out-of-the-box workshops and custom training for your organization's specific needs. Sarah is passionate about helping people and is pursuing certifications in the Mental Health space to bring greater awareness and support to workplaces across Canada! When not demonstrating her awesomeness with clients, Sarah can be found with her family travelling near, far and to adventurous locales and attempting to wrangle her 2-year-old Pomsky pup, Nala.

Therese Van Es

Therese Van Es is a Human Resources Executive with 25 years of experience. Her passion is providing HR solutions for her clients by helping them build their HR infrastructure through people and strategic vision. Prior to launching Ladder HR Solutions, Therese held several corporate HR leadership positions in logistics, manufacturing, IT, and professional services organizations. Therese is a skilled facilitator and has served as Professor of Performance Management. Passionate about creating change in the HR function, Therese mentors newly minted HR professionals. Therese graduated from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Business with the Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management. She also holds an Honours Certification in Management and a diploma in Accounting. Therese enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and also considers herself a natural nutrition nut.

Trish's knowledge and experience in the field of HR is reinforced by intuition and emotional intelligence, allowing her to work with anyone, and bring them to successful goal attainment both personally and professionally. With 13 years of experience focusing on employee & manager coaching in addition to recruitment, she has steered many people in the direction of the goals they wished to achieve. Trish also has a background in life and career coaching, which essentially lead to the same outcome – goal attainment. Her passion is people and to help others reach their goals successfully. She can help you get there.

Allison Wilson

Sr. HR Consultant and Wellness Specialist

Allison Wilson is an HR Professional with experience working for small to mid-sized entrepreneurial environments, and large international organizations. The majority of her career experience was gained in Toronto, where she spent 15 years working in the Financial, B2B, and Media/Technology industries. Allison has a very calm and approachable personality, which has served her well when working through difficult and challenging situations. She is skilled in employee relations, organizational development, performance management, employer branding, and building the function of HR from the ground up. She has a compassionate, diplomatic, empathetic and well-rounded approach. Her ability to view any project or challenge from the employee, management and business perspective provides valuable insight into leadership. Allison also has a passion for holistic wellness; she is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and a Yoga Therapist. She is an advocate for employee wellness and believes happy and healthy employees are the most productive and engaged employees.

Karen Rampersad

HR Generalist

Karen Rampersad recently graduated from the Honours Bachelor of Commerce-Human Resource Management Degree Program at Fanshawe College. She is a very passionate and hardworking young lady with a strong understanding of various sectors of business obtained through her studies! Karen also, graduated from both the Business-Human Resources and Business Administration- Human Resources programs. During her time in the field, she has grown a passion for recruitment and has a keen eye to detail. She is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it! When she's not in the office, you can find her walking or biking a trail, napping or spending time with her pal Rico the cat!

Bukola Adeyanju

HR Consultant

Bukola Adeyanju (Abdulsalam) is a HR professional with a bachelor’s degree in Physics and an executive MBA from Paris Graduate School of Management. After starting her career in sales and marketing, Bukola’s passion for employee wellbeing brought her to HR to help design and develop employee wellbeing programs to foster a healthier and more cohesive work environment. She also developed a love for learning and development and has worked on several HR projects including designing a new performance appraisal system for an international organization. Bukola is a licensed financial advisor and when she is not crunching numbers, she can be found in her kitchen trying out new recipes.

Heather Casey

Office Manager

Heather Casey is an executive associate with over 20 years of customer service and hospitality experience. She manages our office and utilizes her organizational and time management skills to keep everyone on track. Her passions include helping people find success, bringing joy to those around her, and advocating for children's mental health issues. She specializes in payroll, budgeting, accounting, and running a tight ship. After being home raising her daughters for 7 years, Heather has rejoined the workforce and brings a unique perspective to our team. At home, she enjoys baking, reading, and family bike rides. Her laughter and sense of humour are always welcome as she can brighten any space, only after her morning cup of tea of course!
