Position: Senior HR Generalist (Casual/Part-Time)

Our position starts with casual hours with the potential of adding hours as our business grows.

 

We are looking for an HR Generalist with 8+ years of experience who:

  • Can complete full-cycle recruitment with no supervision

  • Has developed & written policies

  • Will confidently advise others on HR best practices

  • Is extremely detail-oriented (and likes to point out grammatical errors 😉)

  • Is proficient in Microsoft 365 quick to learn new technology

  • Has completed their post-secondary education in Human Resources or Human Resources Management

 

Responsibilities of our HR Generalists:

  • Provide HR guidance to clients in-person and/or remotely through email, phone, or virtual meetings

  • Support Ladder consultants by completing ad hoc HR projects within the outlined timelines

  • HR projects may include:

    • Compensation analysis

    • Job description review & creation

    • Full-cycle recruitment

    • Handbook revisions & creation

    • HR document creation (such as offer letters, termination letters, performance improvement plans, etc.)

    • Lots of other fun projects that you show an interest in!

  • Remain knowledgeable and up to date on current legislation and HR trends

  • Understand our clients’ needs and provide timely advice/recommendations
