Position: Customer Service Receptionist

Company: Neighbourhood Pet Clinic

Location: London, Ontario 

We are excited to be supporting one of our clients in the veterinarian field in their search for a Full-Time, Customer Service Receptionist.


Do you want to make a difference in the lives of others and their furry family members?  Our client is expanding their team and is looking for dynamic and collaborative individuals who are passionate about customer service, administration and supporting the clients and their family members alike.
 

What you can expect:

  • Work in a fast-paced and professional environment.

  • Strong computer and phone skills are required (front office).

  • The role will be largely customer service focused(front office.

  • Assist in patient care when asked (back office)

  • Assist in housekeeping duties (back office).

  • You will play a key supportive role in ensuring that the clinic functions smoothly and that all patients and clients have a comfortable and convenient experience.

  • This position will require some evenings and Saturdays given a regular rotating schedule. Opportunities are available at multiple locations within London.

  • Flexibility to go between locations will be highly valued.

  • Work breakdown (90% front office, 10% back office.

  • A successful full-time candidate can expect between 33 – 37 hours per week.

What you bring to this role:

  • As the ideal candidate, you will add value to our team by bringing a positive attitude, an easygoing sense of humour, and an eagerness to learn new skills.

  • When working in a group, you are a natural communicator and a team player.

  • Your personal, work, or volunteer history will demonstrate a willingness to help others.

  • An education or formal training in Veterinary Office Administration, Veterinary Assistant, or related field is an asset but not required.

  • You will use your experience in customer service, serving, or sales to provide exceptional client care while multitasking in this role.

  • Prior experience working with animals or in a healthcare setting will be highly valued.
